VVHA partnered with Cobb Landmarks and Kennesaw State University to create a pocket park next to the historic marker honoring the legacy of folk artist Nellie Mae Rowe. Located at the former site of Rowe's home on Paces Ferry Road, the storyboards serve as a tribute to Rowe's life and artistic vision.State and Georgia Humanities grants funded the project.

Actively working with Cobb Commissioner Allen and the Water System Director to advocate for environmental safety assurances in the multi-million-dollar county project to implement "biosolids incineration" at the RL Sutton Water Reclamation Facility adjacent to Vinings. Scheduled project completion is 2029.

A Vinings area landowner in the early 7800s, Nancy Still represents the plight of the Cherokee nation & the Trail of Tears in 7835. The Paces West Office Buildings agreed to donate the bronze statue to Vinings. We are working with the county to relocate the life-size sculpture in front of the Vinings Library.

Consulted with Cobb county and the developer of "Riverview Village" (former Kroger Center) to reduce the density of the planned mixed-use development and to add a dedicated left turn lane on Paces Mill. The developer agreed to eliminate the walking trails adjacent to nearby Stillhouse homes and to meet with VVHA & Cobb Police on security protocols for the new development.

Worked with Georgia Power Co to replace old power poles & equipment, clear excess vegetation, and move vulnerable overhead lines to enhance service reliability in targeted areas of Vinings.
